Apple Reinvents the Phone with iPhone

Announced today during a keynote speach at the Macworld conference in San Francisco, is the new iPhone, this looks to be the most advanced phone that you can buy today, with full widescreen video capability, smartphone and music player.

The iPhone has impressive wireless features this should definatly put one over the Microsoft Zune.

The only problem that can be seen at this time is its not available until the forth quarter 2007 in the UK, the americans get a better deal and it should be available in the states from June with a 2 year contract on the Cingular network.

The questions that come immediatly to mind is is the new iPhone locked to a network, if so how can it be unlocked.

At the same day apple also announced the availability of the Apple TV (a media player for your tv that can interface with the iTunes store and stream content like movies to your existing TV) The Apple TV has a inbuilt 40gb harddisk for storing the media, and a version of frontrow that is easy for everybody to use.
